Our Funding - $1,000,000!

• The Diocese of West Texas includes a small amount in its budget for World Mission.  This budgeted amount covers administrative costs for such things as development, mailings and travel cost for the Deputy and travel expenses for our foreign partners’ travel when coming to minister to the people of West Texas.

• The Department raises annually approximately $1,000,000 to underwrite the World Mission mission of the Diocese.

• Approximately $850,000 is raised on the congregational level to fund the expenses of our mission teams.

• Another $250,000 is raised outside the budget for other mission initiatives.

Mission funding raising

is primarily from four sources:

1. Diocesan budget – Administrative costs
2. Money raised by individual congregations
3. Generous gifts from individual donors
4. Money raising projects
