The Alleluia Fund: A Guide for Dioceses and Congregations

The 73rd General Convention approved the creation of “The Alleluia Fund – Build my church” a new initiative in planning, giving, and spiritual transformation throughout the dioceses of the Episcopal Church. The national Office of Stewardship was charged to provide leadership and to support the work of the dioceses by creating materials and providing advice and expertise. In response The Alleluia Fund: A Guide for Dioceses and Congregations was published in 2002 by the Episcopal Church. The guide was written by Alice Bane, the principal in Strategic Outsourcing Solutions, and Terry Parsons, Missioner for Stewardship and Discipleship in the Congregational Development unit of the Episcopal Church.

Much of the information contained in the Capital Giving segment of this website has been adapted from The Alleluia Fund: A Guide for Dioceses and Congregations and restated for use by the parishes and missions of the Diocese of West Texas.
